"Impatica lectures which involve them talking in a video form, you can stop you can go back, and you can replay sections, so if you have missed something you can write about it again. I find when you can print out your lectures, if it is the form of the slides, there is often not alot of room to write around them, because if you have 6 slides to a page you do not have anywhere to write. So if they are done in a Word format there is room, either alongside where the original wording is or you can modify them on the computer, (put in your own notes on the computer) or double space the lines to give you room around each line to add your own notes."

"I think technology is amazing! It is really good, and really useful. And the fact that we have Blackboard, and you can put all the lectures on there, it makes it so much easier to go back – with Impatica sessions."

"I find making notes very difficult in lectures because the lecturers often talk very quickly so you miss critical parts."

Record your own video or audio notes using OneNote which comes with the Home and Student version of Microsoft Office 2007. The recordings will be date stamped automatically and linked to any text notes you make. It will be possible to keyword search these recordings and link them to on-line web pages and files etc.
