The Opera browser  works on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris.  It offers a different way of working on the internet, it does not have the add-ons that are available to Firefox and Internet Explorer users but many of the accessibility options are built-in including voice input, use without a mouse and mouse gestures.

It is possible to download Aspell for spell checking which is advised as part of the Opera built in spell checking and dictionary system or to try the Ajax spell checker,  The Opera menus also offer ways of viewing websites with or without graphics, style sheets and high contrast etc.
