There are a few ways of personalising Blackboard to suit your preferences.  The University of Southampton has a series of guides.  You can change the themes or colour by modifying the layout, enlarge the text size, choose the way you see announcements and how courses are presented.  It is possible to add links to other areas on the web, alter your personal profile and view your calendar.
