Summary of course taken

I am in my final year of a three year nursing degree and I would like to work in the community when I qualify in September.

Description of strategies used

Throughout the last three years I have found it easier to use Blackboard if I change the colour and layout settings and I also change the colour settings on my desktop – I have made some easy to use desktop instructions in a set of PowerPoint slides.

In my second year, I had more essays to write including a 10,000 word dissertation throughout which I have used Texthelp Read and Write to proof read and correct spellings.

I like the use of Impatica for lectures because you can go over the content again and again at the speed you want. It is useful to see the slides as well as have the audio.

Since June 2007, I have had a Smart phone and it does what it says on the can! I use it for everything - organising, e-mailing, documents, playing Solitaire! Recently I have been trialling a piece of software called CapturaTalk....
