"I think they just expect us all to [know how to use the software], because some people took a course last year, where they had to have the program software called “RasMol”. So they’ve all got that. But some of us didn’t take the course and don’t have it. RasMol is the older version, which is on the workstations here at university, and I think our tutor wants us to download Pymol version 0.99, which is free, but whenever I try to download - its just a pain!

In this case I ended up going to an example already on a web page and looked at the source code to make the chemical work - I did not really learn how to make use of the software until later!
