"I didn't like the original layout of Blackboard when I clicked on it. I found the colours were too stark and I just found it difficult to use so I went onto modify layout and in the top half of the page you can personalise your layout where you can move your announcements, your calendar, your tasks and your courses around on the page to make it more accessible and easy for you to find what you want to find.

I set it up how I like it and then further down the page you can personalise your theme. I chose the spring colour because I found it quite subtle shades and it was easy to see and use and it wasn't too stark and then you click on submit at the bottom of the page, and it puts it all into place for you."
