Word 2007 QuickAccess toolbar"I have added some icons to make it easier, especially in 2007 Office, because some of them are not even in the menus. Beacuse I was looking for one of the things and I went on the Internet, and it said "Oh yes it is not in the ribbon, you have to add it. " Auto Summarise - you have to add it as a button."

The way I added the spell check and Auto Summary tools to the Quick Access Toolbar was to right click on the mouse whilst the pointer is over the Quick Access Toolbar, choose customize and then All Commands and down to the Auto Summary tools - Add

For more information about AutoSummarise can be a useful tool for making a summary of key points in a paper but it can be fairly random if the text is not set out with sections and headings using styles. You may like to look at the YouTube video AutoSummarize in Mircosoft Word (2003)

"But I don’t like using the ribbon on Office although I haven’t changed it to the classic mode, because I thought I’d try and get used to it... I have added buttons to the top menu button in Office. But I spent half an hour on trying to get the database window up, because it was the navigation difficulty – and I’m good at computers!"
