Strategy: Skype for project work

"Skype Chat is instant, and it won't fill up your inbox. Imagine if every one of these messages was an email!" (Picture of individual words sent in a long list every second as if you were sending them as separate emails)
"When I'm working, I sometimes keep a skype-call open with someone else who is doing the work simultaneously. It's like having them in the same room. No obligation to talk, like a regular phone call. It's just to simulate presence so you can ask one another questions quickly.
The majority of my skype contacts who are currently online have a webcam, although, 4 of those 5 are using Macs and have an integrated webcam as standard!"

It is also much easier too keep a history of all you have done over a long period, the dates and times are there and you can write your report knowing you have the information in order.
Quote
"Using email for project work means you keep having to send separate notes and waiting for the reply, whereas by using Skype you have instant answers to all your queries."

Try Skype extras for additional features for chat and phone sessions. Go to Do More on the menu bar -> Get Extras. There you will find updates, useful collaboration tools including a whiteboard extra that allows you to share documents with others and add items in real time.
