"Quite often I download E-Journals and they are all set up in PDF forms. But, when I come to use the software, it is quite hard to use in PDF form. So when I transfer it to a Word document it is much more user-friendly.
Basically, I have been used to using the software for [TextHelp] 8.1 Read and Write and in that program you can scan the document - you can scan the PDF document and transfer it to a Word document, however when I was using the ClaroRead I couldn't find I could do that." (This was an old version as this is now possible)

"Reading is big issue for me - I find it hard to concentrate on the content so I have to scan in documents so I use a program to read them back to help me focus and absorb more information."

Do you like having your text read out or want to turn it into an Mp3 file? There are lots of free text to speech applications or you can just copy a file into VozMe online and it will provide you with streaming audio or an Mp3 for download - The voices are interesting (robotic) but still spelling and sentence construction mistakes can be heard and a 24 page Word doc is returned remarkably quickly.
