Strategy: Subject specific portals and Google short cuts
4 Keywords: Search, Searching, Google Scholar, Journals
"When looking for any journal I use EngineeringVillage website for searching with keywords for particular subjects in abstracts. If the library has a digital license I directly download the article or I can get, through the library, a hard copy.
Another way to look for an article once its title is known is to use the following search command in Google - "filetype:pdf $", where $ is the article title.
Quote
"If you just know the topic you want there will be too many journals to look at. You need to look in each one separately, but this takes quite awhile so what you need is one place to find them all."

Try the Google Guide for shortcuts that may produce more accurate results such as file type, definitions and terms must appear in the text of the page or intext.
