" I did some work for the ECS website and the intranet’s not searchable at the moment, which they are trying to rectify, I think and I have used the wiki. I tend to browse first...I tend to use Firefox and I change the text to larger if I need to - Sixteen – Times New Roman and Bold, I think."

The first screengrab shows the wiki with the default font - sans serif
 ecs wiki default settings

The second screen grab shows the wiki having used Accessibar to change the text to Times New Roman size 16.  Zoom (Ctrl +)  can be used just to enlarge everything on the page but not change the fonts.

ECS wiki with accessibar

Accessibar is available as an add-in for Firefox - if a web site has been designed in an accessible way where fonts, colours etc can be changed, Accessibar makes it much easier compared to having to find all the change options in the browser.

"I didn’t get on with things like Jaws and ZoomText - I can’t cope with it [assistive technology]...It would enlarge things so that you can’t see the whole thing in one go, which I like to be able to do."
