"I found out about Netter's Anatomy flashcards through a friend of mine - a boyfriend had bought her a set for Christmas and I thought it might be a good idea for me to purchase a set. They are individual visual cards of Anatomy and what you get is a snapshot of the muscle, on the reverse it tells you the name of the muscle, the action, the origin and the insertion, the innovation and it also comments on general knowledge about particular muscle for instance and any other information you might need to have.

They are easily transportable, you can put them in your handbag and read them at night. They cover everything you could think of - it is not just bones, muslces, it includes the blood supply and nerve supply.

Like I say they are flash cards so you don't have a big text to read through it is a snapshot of what you need to know - it is the essential ingredients. Not only do I learn visually but I really am very much 'belt and braces approach' What I really enjoy is being able to get the inofrmation in more than one way. I travel to university on average it is about 2 hours a day of my tinme and I think that is lost study time. What I intend to do is record therm onto my minisdsk and then biurn them onto a CD ao I can play them in my car becuase for me I need to have it reinforced not only visually but audibly as well."

SonicStage used by Stephanie to take recorded audio files from her Sony minidisk to burn them onto a CD has been discontinued, but a similar result can be achieved using Windows Media Player.

Quote

"For me, reading is a big problem, because it is time-consuming and I get very tired reading, even after 10 minutes. And I found anatomy very difficult to assimilate. I have used different technologies."
