Walkit.com is adding towns to their list and will tell you how many calories you can burn on each walk! But if you go by car try the AA map finder, Streetmap.co.uk or multimap.com - they all have different additions to the plain map!

Google Earth 4.3 download offers 3D views of buildings with the ability to go round streets and zoom into areas, view sunsets and sunrises! It is better in USA but you can still get amazing views of the world as you go round.
