Microsoft Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player is provided as part of the Microsoft Windows operating system but it can be downloaded separately. It is keyboard accessible and can be used with a sreen reader - WebAIM carried out a series of player comparisons for accessibility when version 9 was available. It is possible to provide text equivalents for audio - in Windows Media Player WebAIM also has an Introduction to Captioning for Windows Media.
If you decide to embed the Windows Media player on your web page it may only be keyboard accessible in Internet Explorer (2008) - in other words other browsers may not allow you to to tab into and out of the player making the controls hard to reach for some users.
